Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is the greatest holiday in the WORLD. It has no religious affiliation and it celebrates food and football. The NFL has three games on Thursday.

Tennessee at Detroit
Last Saturday, my hope was this game would be between the undefeated Titans and the winless Lions. Unfortunately the Jets crushed the Titans and ended my short lived dream. Now Tennessee travels north with a chip on their shoulders and is poised to mutilate the Lions. Last week Detroit fans didn’t sell out Ford Fields and the game was blacked out. This week they have managed to sell out the annual game. Why? By having the game blacked out Lions fans will save them selves from an awful game. For the hell of it, Lets Go Lions!

My pick Tennessee-35 Detroit-10

Seattle at Dallas
Seattle is terrible, but I hate the Cowboys. Go Seahawks!

My pick Seattle-20 Dallas-30

Arizona at Philadelphia
This should be the best game of the day. While the Eagles have struggled of late, they aren’t that bad of a team. Brian Westbrook is one of the top running backs in the NFL. The Eagles need him to be healthy to have a chance. Arizona is an exciting team to watch. Kurt Warner should throw for well over 300 yards. The Cardinals have basically cliched the NFC West division. If the Eagles can get over their breakdown in Baltimore last week, they can win. Arizona does not play well on the east coast and it is going to be cold. I just want to see a good football game.

My pick Arizona-24 Philadelphia-20

Tuesday Night Football

Western Michigan at Ball State
The Cardinals and the Broncos face off for the MAC West Championship. The Ball State Cardinals are ranked 15th in the nation and are undefeated. The winner of this game will play Buffalo in the MAC Championship Game at Ford Field on December 5th.

Navy at Northern Illinois
Navy and the nations top rushing offense play the Northern Illinois Huskies in a late season match-up. If Navy wins they will solidify a position in the Eagle Bank Bowl. The Huskies need to win to become bowl eligible and continue their season. Next week Navy will travel to Philly to play Army.
